As we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month, we are reminded of the powerful role music can play in supporting emotional well-being. Through music therapy, our students are not only learning new skills–they are finding their voices, building confidence, and forming meaningful connections with one another. Music creates a space where students feel safe to express themselves. Whether it’s through rhythm, movement, or shared activities, students begin to connect–not just with the music, but with each other. These connections help build trust, confidence, and connections.
As the school year comes to a close, we continue to see how impactful these experiences are. Our students are growing in ways that extend beyond the classroom, gaining skills that will support them in school and in life.
Your support makes all of this possible. Because of you, our students have the opportunity to grow, connect and thrive through music. Make an impact today–support music therapy for our students.
